Report: Apple working on next iPad
With HP putting an end to its tablet hardware business, rumors continue to swirl about the device that pushed it to an early exit.
The Wall Street Journal reports Apple has begun "trial production" of its next iPad, which could debut as soon as early 2012.
Citing "people familiar with the situation," the new iPad is expected to boast a high-resolution display at 2048 x 1536. No other technical details were given.

Qaddafi’s Hold in Tripoli in Doubt as Rebels Advance
CAIRO — Six months after the outbreak of the revolt against his 42 years in power, Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi’s hold on his Tripoli stronghold shows signs of slipping.
Residents of Tripoli, the capital, who for months had hesitated to talk openly over the phone, said in calls Friday night that they believed Colonel Qaddafi’s flight or ouster could be imminent. Three people said the feeling of fear was ebbing in the streets.

New Delhi: Signs of continuous fast for the past four days might have started showing on his face, but anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare on the fifth day of his fast on Saturday said he'll "not give up".
"I have lost 3.5 kg over the past four days... but there is nothing to worry," the Gandhian said sitting at an elevated platform at the ground, as the crowd of supporters at the Ramlila ground in central Delhi cheered.

NEW DELHI: Anna Hazare on Friday launched his protest fast at the historic Ramlila Maidan giving indications that it will be a prolonged one when he declared that he will not quit the venue till the Jan Lokpal Bill is brought.
"We will not leave this ground till the Jan Lokpal Bill is brought," he declared from Ramlila Maidan, the venue of his campaign, after he came out of Tihar Jail and made a three- hour drive from the prison where he spent three nights.
